The Big Lunch

WHAT IS IT?• The Big Lunch is a lunchtime club at Bodmin College that is open to all students from Year 7 to Year 13. • The Big Lunch is usually held on a Wednesday in H5 although its range of activities take it to various locations around College.
• The Big Lunch is designed to allow those students who wish to explore what Christianity is all about to do so in a friendly and safe environment that encourages them to ask questions and think the issues through for themselves. • The Big Lunch is designed to allow those students who are Christians to share their faith with one another. • The Big Lunch contributes to the spiritual life of the College which seeks to cater for the whole student. • The Big Lunch is run on a turn up if you want to basis with no charge for its lunchtime activities. • The Big Lunch provides a range of trips during evenings and weekends that extend the lunchtime club making it one of the most varied and active clubs at the College. 
THIS TERM This term the Big Lunch is running a General Knowledge Team Quiz. We are also playing the Lyric Game & doing a charity fundraiser. Last term our coin chain raised over £15 in 30 minutes for Shelterbox. We also have sessions looking at 'Why are some people so nasty?' and on 'Being a good friend'. We will find out about the CCYC camp held in our College in the summer and have special sessions on Valentines and on Easter. TRIPS The ‘Big Lunch Out’ events include going to the CCYC Preview Event in Truro in March. The picture on the right shows a Big Lunch member having fun at CCYC last year on their trip to Crealy.
