Started at College this Year?

If you are, then this is for you.

Being a Christian at College is a real challenge and a huge opportunity at the same time. For most of us it's the first experience we have of being treated as students rather than pupils and learning in an atmosphere where it's possible for staff to be more open and flexible in their approach.

There is often a lot more discussion - quality relationships with a whole variety of people can form.  For others, the experience can be very different. Across the county, many students travel a very long way to get to College and feel a bit lost in a new place with none of the familiarity of school.

The challenge in being a Christian at College is in how to relate what God wants in our discipleship to what the culture and society around us expects and even demands.  Some find it very tough indeed to bring these two things together.

The opportunity presented to Christians at College is that people are becoming more open and willing to discuss things seriously, facing big issues and finding that our society has no answers at all to the great questions of life.

In facing the challenges and seizing the opportunities at College it's great to have some help. That's where Christian Unions come in. It's much easier if you're not doing it on your own. A Christian Union is just a group of Christians who want to grow to know Jesus better, to live for Him and to share Him with others who aren't Christians - they do this together because that makes it easier.
