Hey all, most of you probably don't know me but I'm an old volunteer :) I wrote this a little while ago and thought I'd share it with you, hope you like it. Just You asked me just the other day how I could still believe,
How I could raise my hands and praise when knocked off of my feet,
How doubts give passion and trials fuel strength that survive antipathy,
You asked me how my God remains the one thing true to me. I've faith in my Lord, belief in His Word,
Trust in compassion, the times that we've shared,
I've faith in His truth, peace in His plan,
Understanding I can wait for, I'm safe here in His hand. You ask me what it is my God has done for me?
Hows creation? The Cross? Or simply eternity?
You ask me how my faith survives the war, the death, the plagues?
I point out that its man, not God, I survive man every day.
